Husband & Dad

Chris Schuchardt is a 3rd generation San Antonian. He is a successful entrepreneur, job creator, and lifelong resident of San Antonio.

Growing up in San Antonio, Chris was greatly influenced by his Grandfather Joe. His Grandpa came to America as an immigrant from Tampico Mexico and was orphaned shortly after arriving. Through grit, hard work and determination his Grandfather was able to achieve the American Dream. After 30 years of service at Kelly AFB, which included service in Korea, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam, his Grandpa Joe honorably retired.

Not being one to sit at home Joe embarked on a second career, serving as a federal Grand Jury Bailiff for 21 years.  Spending large parts of his childhood with his Grandpa, Chris learned that no matter who you are or where you are from there is always something greater to be achieved in life, so long as you’re willing to work for it.

Chris grew up attending area schools, completing high school at Antonian College Prep, a Catholic high school. After graduation, he attended and completed his studies at Texas A&M.

After beginning his professional career in banking and a stint in oil and gas, Chris set out on his own at the age of 26. Since starting his trucking and materials business in 2017, Chris has grown to employ over 55 full-time and contract workers, taking part in some of the largest private and public projects in San Antonio and the surrounding area. Chris believes in the approach of taking care of your customers and your people first, and yourself second.

Chris is married to Megan Schuchardt. The couple met while both attending A&M and have been married since 2014. The couple welcomed their first child, Christopher T. Schuchardt II, in June of 2022.

Chris feels blessed to have been raised in San Antonio. His efforts to make this city better are so that all parents have the opportunity to raise their children in a city that is safe and prosperous. And FUN!
